Bushman TekBits BM9026-11

Cut, digitally heat treated and brine quenched in Canada
from virgin 1095 high carbon US steel.
"BTB Ball Bearing Mount" fits optional "BTB Bow Drill Ball Bearing Kits".

This striker series throws lots of sparks
especially from sharp chert or flint.
Digital electric heat oven processing with heated brine quenching
gives consistent hardness.

These have not been tempered, intentionally leaving good hardness
for best sparking. If whacked with a hammer they probably will break
as will any good metal file.
However, If any do break in normal use,
please contact BTB for replacement.

With In-house heat treatment and hand finishing,
each will be a bit different. Retaining a "rustic" character,
they can be further sanded/polished if desired.
Do not overheat, Send us pictures !!

High carbon steel items can rust especially if stored damp or wet.
An occasional coating of quality oil can help prevent corrosion damage.
BTB Strikers are cloth rubbed with USP grade mineral oil
after final testing and finishing.
