X-Acto® X11 blades are
typically .020" thick

Many Starrett blades are .specified as being .050" thick.
However, paint increases measured thickness
up to about .057"
(as measured on two samples.)

Grind or sand only the TShank section of a Starrett BU38 blade. Remove paint  on flat sides only. TShank will now be about .050" thick.
Using a hobby blade about .020" thick, mark and grind to fit TShank.
Total thickness is about .070".
Improvement:
Try trimming a .020" thick gapper from a garage sale or a larger version disposable blade.
Etc.

As noted on UTube Videos, the Starrett TShank series saw blades fit
the Leatherman Surge Saw Blade Adaptor but they are too loose.
These blades are too thin, so by using spacers, the thickness can be increased.

These are not for sale by Bushman & are included here for general interest & reference.
